The Purebred Sheep Breeders Association of Nova Scotia is proud to be hosting the All Canada Classic Sheep Show and Sale, which is the National Show and Sale sponsored annually, by the Canadian Sheep Breeders Association (CSBA). The 2018 “Classic” will be held at the Provincial Exhibition Grounds on July 5th, 6th and 7th, with the sale being conducted on the last day with Andy Carter as our auctioneer.  For a more detailed schedule of events and entry forms, please go to the CSBA website at www.sheepbreeders.ca  Entry forms and catalogues may also be requested by calling 1-866-956-1116.

Because of the hosting of the Classic, the Association will not be holding the Atlantic Fall Sheep Sale on the Labor Day weekend in September this year.

Due to power outages, we have moved the AGM to the following Saturday, January 13th at the RAC on the Dalhousie campus starting at 10:30am.

We will be going over the Fall Sale 2017 results, some research and we will be discussing the up coming Sheep Classic 2018 that will be held in Truro, this coming July.

Atlantic Sheep Sale catalogue ’17

The Purebred Sheep Breeders’ Association of Nova Scotia is having their annual general meeting on January 23th at the Ruminant Animal Center at the Dal-AC at 10:00am.

We encourage everyone to come to get the latest updates and this is also an opportunity to have voices heard.

Another year is complete for the Atlantic Fall Sheep Sale.   Our organization would like to thank all the people who make this sale successful and possible and a really big thank you goes out to Dalhousie University, who go above and beyond to helping out our organization during this sale.  Thank you!
